Last year Helicopter helmet and Merit Apparel co designed what is called a Universal NVG Adapter for the MSA/Gentex Helmet. Our design allowed the owner of the MSA helmet to use the NVG Mount off a Gentex Quick Release equiped helmet and simply move the NVG mount from one helmet to another. The design and trials took several months.
Tiger recently has offered their version which is nothing more than adding a plate to the MSA factory adapter which does not work, and I would warn anyone not to waist your money on the copy. When we designed the Multi Helmet Adapter, we completely built a new interface for the MSA using a carbon fiber base which allow the quick release pins to pass through. The tiger copy does not allow for that, and will not work.
